Head Coach - Jeff Miller

Jeff enters his second year as head coach of the Moorhead Blues with a 38-12 record in his first year. Jeff has previously coached American Legion Baseball in Barnesville, MN in 1986 and 1987. Jeff joined the Fargo American Legion baseball program as the Bombers head coach in 1988. During his stay in Fargo, Jeff was fortunate to be part of two American Legion baseball World Series as a coach in 1989 and 1992. He also lead the Bombers to the North Dakota State American Legion baseball tournament in 1995. In 1996, Jeff joined the Moorhead Blues staff as an assistant coach to head coach Bucky Burgau. In 1997 Jeff left American Legion baseball to be with his family as they were growing in years. Jeff was active in those years as a youth baseball coach, Babe Ruth coach, Babe Ruth board member and Babe Ruth President.

Jeff and his wife Ronette are parents to Betsy and Brooks. Jeff is also the step father to Lucas and Erin Reski. Jeff works in the North Dakota Air National Guard as the Base Education and Training Manager. He also spends his fall season as an official for high school and college football.

Bryant Bergeson - Assistant Coach

Bryant Bergeson begins his first year as an assistant coach with the Moorhead Blues. He is a native of Clarkfield, MN and a 2005 graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead. At Concordia he completed a 4-year baseball career earning All-Conference Honors as a second baseman. Bergeson’s degree is in biology education and is currently teaching science at Ulen-Hitterdal School while also coaching football and baseball.  

He and his wife Rachel have a 1-year old son Tyden.

Joe Baker - Blues Manager

Joe Baker is a life member of the Melvin E. Hearl Post 21 American Legion of Moorhead. He has been an active member elected to several positions throughout the years, including six terms as commander. Joe has served as the Blues Baseball Manager for 20 years, the state baseball committee for 13 years and the Vice Director for 3 years. He was inducted to the Minnesota American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000. Joe has be the leader of the Blues for over 1000 games. Baker first became active as a baseball person in 1986 after driving the player van a few road trips. In 1988, the program needed a leader and has been with the Blues ever since.
